Food fights affect Digger morale

Foot [sic] fights affect Digger morale

DIGGERS risking all on the deadly battlefields of Afghanistan are fighting on a diet of tasteless gruel.

Soldiers bombarded Defence Minister Joel Fitzgibbon with complaints when he made a secret Anzac Day visit to Oruzgan Province on Friday.

Senior officers have conceded the poor diet is affecting morale and soldiers’ health and have ordered a study into the nutritional value of the food.

The Advertiser took the taste test on Friday at the Dutch-run mess at Tarin Kowt military base after learning of the complaints about food quality.

The tasteless slab of roast pork was submerged in a sea of equally flavour challenged gravy and the pumpkin had long since morphed from a solid vegetable to liquid gruel.

The other choice was an equally unedible turkey slice. [more ...]

In my day (22 years ago), we were forced to subsist on an orange stew that consisted of everything the bait-layers (army cooks) could throw into it. Fom tins of corned beef hash to strawberry jam, it didn’t matter whether it was a main meal or desert, it went into the pot. All I can say is, typical bloody army!

Dr Toben Has No Regrets Fighting For Truth in History

Torben [sic] does not regret defying order on insulting Jews

Sean Fewster, Court Reporter: The Advertiser | April 16, 2009

http://www.news.com.au/adelaidenow/story/0,22606,25344960-5006301,00.html

REVISIONIST historian Fredrick Toben does not regret defying a court order to stop insulting Jewish people, saying “freedom of speech demands sacrifice”. [sic]

The Federal Court, sitting in Adelaide, today found Toben guilty of 24 counts of contempt of court.

Justice Bruce Lander ruled Toben acted “wilfully and contumaciously” by uploading, to his website, articles implying Jews offended by Holocaust denial were of “limited intelligence”.

Other articles claimed the Auschwitz concentration camp had no gas chambers, and that some Jewish people “exaggerated” the Holocaust “for improper motives”.

Toben now faces a fine, jail time or both – under Australian law, the severity of those penalities are at the court’s discretion.

Asked, outside court, if he felt he had done anything wrong, Toben replied: “according to the judgment, I have.”

“Why should I regret anything?” he said.

“If you believe in something and you want to have the freedom to express your opinion, then you should be prepared to make sacrifices.

“I don’t know if I’m allowed to believe anything anymore… if you take away my freedom of expression, you take away my humanity.”

The former teacher has long been a controversial figure.

In 2008, he spent time in British custody while German prosecutors sought to have him extradicted to face charges.

In 2006, he was a speaker at an internationally-condemned revisionist history conference organised by Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

Last year, Toben pleaded not guilty to 28 charges of contempt of court.

It was alleged he breached an undertaking he gave to the court, in September 2002, that he would not publish material that “offended, insulted or humiliated Jewish people” on his website.

Today, Justice Lander found 24 of those charges proved beyond reasonable doubt.

“Dr Toben’s behaviour… is further evidence of his wilful and contumacious disobedience (of the court),” he said.

The court will hear submissions on penalty in two weeks.

We could argue the historical aspects of what is commonly called the Holocaust until we are blue in the face. The problem is that no open and unbiased research that is unfettered by political correctness has ever has been done to expose the reality of those times. To base all evidence of a historical event on the testimony of heartfelt but often hysterical witness accounts, hearsay and what was enemy propaganda based on fiction, and then refuse point blank to allow an open investigation into the facts surrounding the matter, means that there will ALWAYS be people who doubt what is essentially, an unverified historical event.

In this case, Dr Toben’s conviction will only make matters worse for the Holocaust Believers, as those that are labeled Holocaust Deniers are persecuted and continue to grow in number and influence. Politically correct inquisitions not withstanding, unverfied historical events are faith based at best and anything based purely on faith will eventually fail. Therefore, the choice for the Holocaust Believers is to either allow an investigation which will result in the unadultured truth being revealed, or deny the possibility of any investigation which can only result in an eventual reversal of condemnation where the believer will be ridiculed for his/her faith.

Remember Galileo Galilei? Who laughs now?

Federal Government Orders Political Indoctrination of Two Year Olds

Pre-school guidelines for activists

Susie Obrien, Daniel Wills: The Advertser | April 13, 2009

http://www.news.com.au/adelaidenow/story/0,22606,25331336-5006301,00.html

HIGH-PROFILE Labor MP Maxine McKew wants to train toddlers and pre-school children to become political activists.

She has drafted her controversial Early Years Learning Framework which, if adopted, would cover all kindergartens, childcare centres and other early childhood settings.

The guidelines would also provide the basis for the education and care of all Australian pre-schoolers and are due to be implemented in July.

Ms McKew, the woman who ousted former Prime Minister John Howard at the 2007 election, is the Parliamentary Secretary for Early Childhood Education and Child Care. She wants children to:

CONTRIBUTE in a meaningful way to reconciliation, including flying the Aboriginal flag and inviting elders to give talks.

USE “social inclusion puppets” and “persona dolls” to explore exclusion and ethical issues.

CHALLENGE and resist bias and discrimination.

TAKE action in unfair situations and learn to act when injustice occurs.

ASSESS and act on power dynamics as they get older.

The political emphasis of the guidelines has divided early learning experts.

Leading educational consultant Kathy Walker has questioned the merits of such issues being “rammed down the throats” of two, three and four-year olds.

“Although I welcome the emphasis on play-based learning, there is an air of political correctness about the document overall,” she said.

University of South Australia early childhood education expert Anne Glover said racism was a major problem in SA and steps must be taken to eradicate “negative attitudes” in early childhood.

“While some people might say this is a form of social engineering, all our activity is some kind of engineering, and it’s all political,” she said yesterday. “Children aren’t born with prejudice, they aren’t born with negative attitudes, they learn them from their environment.”

SA Association of State School Organisations director David Knuckey said members of his council had been involved in lengthy consultation sessions on the framework. He said it was critical educational values were not dictated by government bodies.

“Certainly you would want children to learn the values associated with what we would call social inclusion,” he said. “But it is important these policies, these agendas, are being driven by community ideals and not a political agenda.”

Under the $700,000 new approach to early childhood education, the goal will be to “promote children’s civic participation and nurture socially responsible citizens for a future world,” a Federal Government February 2009 briefing paper states.

There is also a strong emphasis on caring for the environment and reconciliation.

The guidelines also focus strongly on play-based learning, the importance of communication and language, the role of the family in children’s lives and social and emotional development.

Charles Sturt University Professor Jennifer Sumsion, who is leading the development of the guidelines, said last night feedback was still being received from stakeholders.

“But we do not anticipate a general message change,” she said. “The feedback from the early learning sector has been very positive.”

They already have the majority of sheeple responding to keywords such as, “racist” and “Nazi.” Liberal and Labor have been pushing the left-wing agenda with school children for decades. This is just the old Labor method of taking one step extra to the left to keep ahead of Liberal – who will of course maintain step with the politically correct crowd so they don’t get branded by the same old keywords. Take heed of the old saying, “Fight fire with fire,” and teach your children to respond with some keywords that actually do make sense in today’s society, “Marxist,” “totalitarian” and “reconciliation supremacists.”

Other references I could have included in the above comment are, Stalinists, Black Supremacists, Asian Supremacists, Jewish Supremacists, Islamic Supremacists, self hating Whites, feminists, homosexuals, lesbians and references to religious groups that try to enforce a left-wing agenda upon White people but refuse to allow the same for their own: Christians, Muslims and Jews.

Yes, according to all of the groups above, little White children must feel guilty for the the imagined sins of their fathers. Not too long to go and children will be told that the only way to remove the stain of “racism” from their conscience is to report their parents for breach of Racial Vilification Law.

No, that’s already done by school teachers in feel good essays for Recon$iliation.

I remember sitting on a bus behind some Flinders University students during the last national election. One of the girls turned to another and pointed to a harmless old lady who appeared to be in her 60’s and said that “racism will be alive and well until THAT generation of White people is killed off!” As abhorrent as that conversation was to witness, I can only surmise that we will soon be hearing the same from four, five and six year olds as they point the finger and make the same declarations aimed at their own parents.

Hospital removes crosses from chapel

http://mosman-daily.whereilive.com.au/news/story/the-chapel-without-a-crucifix

CRUCIFIXES, Bibles and all other Christian symbols have been banned from a hospital’s chapel when it is not being used for a church service.

The Mosman Daily has learnt that Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney has bes been ordered to remove Christian content by New South Wales bureaucrats to avoid offending Muslims, Hindus or other non-Christian believers who may want to pray in the chapel.

Hospital staff say that while the chapel was built for Christians, they now want the chapel to be completely non-denominational.

An inspection of the chapel last week by the Daily found no trace of a crucifix or any other religious symbol inside the chapel.

The Daily has been told that church leaders must bring their own symbols to use in a service.

The chapel building also contains a separate Muslim prayer room. [more ...]

Comment:
I am in two frames of mind about this.

The first is that I recognise that to the Christians, their chapel was holy ground. It’s only Muslim and Jewish influences that have caused the New South Wales state government to order the removal of Christian icons from the hospital chapel. Really, if these people with their primitive religions don’t like this country, they can go back to whence they came. But then, with their standard belief of “Love thy enemy,” and Christians not having the balls to take back what is rightfully theirs, they get what they deserve.

On the other hand, never being a Christian, I’d say bulldoze the place. It’s a waste of space. Hospitals are places of science. If you want to go talk to your imaginary friends, go to the psychiatric ward where you’ll find more of your kind.

To Creators reading this. If you are ever in Mosman hospital for a period of time, take the time to give a serman or two from the White Man’s Bible. If they refuse to permit reading from our holy books, sue the bastards!
