Robber attacks Highway Inn employee with tyre lever

A PLYMPTON hotel employee was attacked with an iron bar early today in a violent robbery.
Three men, one armed with a tyre lever, entered the Highway Inn on Anzac Highway about 1.20am.
They threatened staff and assaulted one of them, inflicting minor injuries.
After stealing cash they escaped in a black Mitsubishi Lancer with a partial number plate of XFP.
All the offenders were wearing dark clothing and the man armed with the tyre lever is described as Aboriginal, about 165cm, 70kg wearing a red and white bandanna on his forehead.
Another, also Aboriginal, is 170-175cm tall and 55kg.
Witnesses could not give a clear description of the third offender.
