Asian daylight attack on elderly woman

A KNIFE-wielding man of Asian appearance threatened an elderly woman and stolen [sic] her handbag at Para Vista just before 4.30 today.

The woman was not physically hurt but she was shaken by the brazen day light attack.

Police said they have no clear description of the assailant and it’s unknown which way he fled.

Effie Crt is a short distance from Montague Rd.
