Judeo-Christian: It’s a phrase that has only appeared since the 1960′s, but everyone seems happy to accept it at face value. And yet, Judeo-Islamic is completely unheard of. Considering the more than a millennia of partnership between Islam and Judaism which only seems to have gone sour in the Middle East since the early 20th century but has continued in White/European nations as a unique if sometimes strained partnership, and taking into account the Judaic origins of Islam as well as the many similarities between the two religions and cultures, why do we not refer to Judeo-Islamic religion and values for what they are rather than splitting hairs as we do?
